Today proved to be a sad yet exciting day. The Crew said goodbye to their head coach Alison Pollini as she writes the next chapter in her life. Alison has accepted the new USRowing Membership Coordinator position in New Jersey. As much as we hate to see her go, we wish her the best and know she will always be with Alabama Crew at heart. Row Tide Alison!
by Matt Mitchell 1 Comment »Due to safety reasons, the Row Tide Regatta will be canceled this year. The river has flooded to a dangerous level and the debris following a flood like this is exceptionally dangerous.
We apologize for any inconvenience but hope you join us again next year. If you have any additional questions or concerns please let us know. You can contact us at alabama.crew@gmail.com

by macalison No Comments »This weekend, The Secret City Regatta will be held in Oak Ridge, TN and will be the second race of the season for our varsity and novice crews. Our novice crew has made great progress over the past week and the varsity 8 and 4+ have just undergone lineup changes from a week’s worth of seat-racing. Both crews are looking to flex their new progress this weekend and our rowers and coaches have high expectations and anticipation for the final race before the Head of the Hooch. Our varsity 8 will be facing UTC and a hybrid Berry College/Vanderbilt boat, while the novice crew will be facing competition from Tennessee, Georgia State, Vanderbilt, and UTC. The varsity 4 will be racing Murray State, Tennessee, Georgia State, Vanderbilt, and UTC.
