Alabama Crew once again had a very successful weekend of racing, with every boat entered medalling, including several first place finishes.

Alabama Crew came home with plenty of hardware this weekend at the 15th annual Hobbs Island Regatta in Huntsville, AL. This was the novices’ first race and we couldn’t have asked for a better turnout!

Alabama Crew is excited to welcome Erika Baranek and Leigh Ann Lazarus aboard its coaches’ launches this season as we look forward to another year of hard work and great racing. On January 28th, 2012 the Men’s Rowing Team competed in the South East Indoor Rowing Championship in Chattanooga, Tennessee.  The team competed in the Novice, Varsity, Never-ever, Coxswain, Team Relay, and 500m Dash categories.  Overall, we walked away with almost a dozen medals.  Rowers and their events medaled in are listed below:   1.
